HatBuddy ships to anywhere in the world. We hope this page will answer most important questions, but if you have other questions or need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
A: HatBuddy is intended to be kept dry, but should it become stained, the exterior covering may be wiped with a damp cloth and allowed to air dry. The bottom of the HatBuddy should be kept clean at all times, so its' sticky properties are maintained. Should the bottom become soiled with excessive dust, dirt or other materials, it may begin to lose some of its' stickiness. If this happens, simply wash the black pad on the bottom with soap and water or household glass cleaner, while keeping the rest of the HatBuddy as dry as possible. This will return the sticky properties to the HatBuddy.
A: Payment may be made in United States currency (money order or cashier's check), or by credit card (Master Card or Visa Cards) through our safe and secure PayPal checkout.
A: Customs charges are not included in the shipping and handling charges and must be paid when your package arrives. Please check with your local authorities for more information.
A: HatBuddy works great pretty much anywhere. It may be used in the vehicle, on a closet shelf at home, on a desk at an office or just about anywhere you would need to store a hat. Caution: NEVER place a HatBuddy on or near an airbag! In the event of an accident, any object placed on or near an airbag can immediately become a fast moving and very forceful projectile, that can cause serious injury or death to vehicle occupants. NEVER place a HatBuddy anywhere that interferes or may interfere with a vehicle operator's vision of a roadway or any other surroundings! Impeding sight of driver may result in serious bodily injury or death. When using in a vehicle or machinery, always use HatBuddy in a manner which promotes safe driving/operating conditions.
A: Absolutely not. HatBuddy is designed to hold every type of hat. Whether a Cowboy/Cowgirl Hat, Baseball Caps, Hard hats, Military and Police Hats, etc., HatBuddy will hold it in your car, office, home, barn, anywhere you need it. With the HatBuddy, “Where you put your hat, is where it will be!”
A: No. Every HatBuddy is One-Size-Fits-All. Whether it's a toddler's hat or a ten-gallon Texas style hat, HatBuddy will hold it in place.
A: Yes. We are happy to offer you a discount for an order of multiple HatBuddies greater than 10 for a single transaction. Please go to our Contact Us page and fill out the contact form or send us an email specifying details of your intended order and we will inform you right away, of your discounted price offer based on the quantities of your order.
A: HatBuddy, LLC wants every customer to become a regular customer. With this goal in mind, we do everything within our power to ensure that you are completely happy with your entire purchasing experience, including the HatBuddy product you receive. If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your order, you may return it for exchange or refund. If you should need to return a HatBuddy, simply go to our Contact Us page and fill out the contact form or send us an e-mail and we will respond with instructions on returning your order.
A: Although HatBuddy may stick temporarily to a clean, non-porous, vertical surface, it should be stressed that this is neither the intended, nor proper use of the product. HatBuddy is designed as a mobile hat holder for vehicles (specifically dashboards) or on shelving in homes, barns, offices, horse-trailer living quarters and other practical HORIZONTAL surfaces on which one would typically want to place and/or store a hat. From time to time, HatBuddy advertising materials may include photographs and/or videos showing a HatBuddy being stuck to the outside or inside of a car window or windshield. These images are strictly for illustration purposes, to demonstrate just how sticky the bottom of HatBuddy is. They also are used to answer the FAQ.
A: No. HatBuddy uses no magnets nor any secondary adhesives.
A: HatBuddy, LLC in no way recommends that our product be stuck to any vertical surface for holding a hat. Because of uncontrollable variables such as temperatures, moisture levels and pressure fluctuations (as well as dust and debris which may be present even when they are not visible to the naked eye), HatBuddy's polyurethane gel pad bottom is not recommended for use on vertical surfaces. HatBuddy hereby rejects and denies any and all claims of liability and/or damages that may arise from HatBuddy being used on a vertical surface. A hat may become damaged or soiled if it drops or falls onto the floor, the ground or onto any other unclean surface.
A: Your HatBuddy is fine! Just needs a little cleaning. You may have noticed that when a clean and/or new HatBuddy is pressed to a non-porous, clean and smooth surface the HatBuddy sticks to it like crazy. However, a HatBuddy normally does not actually "stick" to a vehicle dashboard. It doesn't need to actually stick to the dash for it to work. With most dashboards typically made of a rough, textured, ejection-molded plastic, HatBuddy doesn't really stick to them. Instead, it simply creates a strong, non-skid action.
HatBuddy, LLC and all Associated Principals expressly reject any and all liability of injury, death, or damage whatsoever, which may result from careless or unsafe use or placement of a HatBuddy product. HatBuddy, LLC expressly limits its' liabilities in whole and in part to the replacement of said HatBuddy product.
